Learn to implement Read 180 - to support 4th–8th grade students in accelerating their reading skills.
The program is a comprehensive, intensive reading intervention program designed for 4th-8th grade students reading below grade level.
Combining small group, teacher-led lessons with adaptive computer software - students strengthen their reading abilities by building phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension skills. Read 180 can help students make significant gains - often two or more years of reading growth within a single school year.
Note: Teachers who complete this 90 minute training - and are also CORE-trained - or who are concurrently enrolled in CORE training (a new CORE session begins in December 2025) are eligible to teach in the Extended Reading Program.
